Made for iPad! And works beautifully on the iPod Touch and iPhone devices too.

The "interactive" part comes in the form of games, activities, hidden Easter eggs, and the like. Gorgeous artwork, read-along text, and a reasonable price tag...Whats not to like?

I was really impressed with Jack and the Beanstalk Children’s Interactive Storybook. It takes full advantage of the iPad’s size and looks great. The addition of the hidden activities within the story make it a fun app that my son really enjoyed

The Giant is high on the beanstalk. Tilt the device and watch the Giant sway. The Giant will complain when you shake the device - hes afraid of heights.

Pros and cons of Jack and the Beanstalk Interactive Storybook app for iPhone and iPad

Jack and the Beanstalk Interactive Storybook app good for

Kids love it, I love it. And it passed the two week test Nothing more to say... Cant wait for future titles...
This is the best kids book Ive downloaded and Ive bought several. Very well designed. Please release the next book soon.
The level of interactivity makes this version of Jack and the Beanstalk a compelling read. Ayars has set the bar high on the future of digital book consumption. Hurry up and develop more.:)
Best toddler game on the iPad hands down. My three year old and my two year old cant get enough of it after 1 month of near daily play. Well with the money.
This book is very well done. My 5 and 8 year old girls love it and ask for it every bedtime. Beware parents! Youll be pulling this one out a lot for the little ones. It even makes me laugh out loud in several places. I cant wait for the next one. Great job.
I concur with other reviewers. Its awesome! Thanks to Ayars animation for the excellent product.

Some bad moments

"smell blood" ..."grind bones to make my bread" etc. ... Leads to questions and Id rather not have that conversation with my child.
The reviews that give 4 stars must be done by friends and family of the developer. The book is a total rip-off. Very little interaction. Basically a picture book. Once through and your done. My 2 year old could care less about the "eggs". And how do the eggs relate to the story? I rate this APP -1 stars.
Which is misleading when reading info about app. I purchase a lot of childrens books and educational apps and this is definitely not worth the $3.99 price tag. I was hoping app would reflect honest reviews and developers intro lines. I have deleted it after viewing once and showing it to my 3 yr old grandson who was not the least bit interested.
After having the Peter Rabbit, Moo, Ba, etc. and other fine books, this one falls short. Maybe its better for older kids, but this is not much more than a read along with a few irrelevant "games."
The app looks great, but Im not getting any sound... Very frustrating!
Compared to other ipad books available, this is simplistic. Yes, there are lots of pages but do they do anything? Sounds are assigned to animals and things. Touch them, you get a sound recording. Yippee. A few pages have shape-matching exercises or light coloring. Yippee. Graphics are dull. I hate to say it but this is soooo 2009. I expect a lot more from an iPad book in 2011!
